Entry Requirements

General Foundation Program:

  • A prospective student who has a Diploma in Secondary Education / General Education Diploma or equivalent can apply to join the General Foundation Program
  • The mode of study should be recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Oman

Academic Programs at Undergraduate Levels :

Information Systems & Technology and Business Administration Programs :

  • Pass the General Foundation Program requirements at SUC (or) Pass the Placement Examinations conducted at SUC in line with SUC Placement Test Policy.

Engineering Programs:

  • Pass the General Foundation Program requirements at SUC (or) Pass the Placement Examinations conducted at SUC in line with SUC Placement Test Policy .
  • A IELTS Score 5.0 or above or its equivalent.

Exemptions:

  •  A prospective student who has an IELTS Score 5.0 or above or its equivalent will be exempted from GFP English Courses.
  •  A prospective student with IC3 in English Language or ICDL or Cambridge Diploma will be exempted from Computing Skills requirements at GFP.

Academic Programs at Postgraduate Levels:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent with accumulative GPA 2.5 out of 4;(OR)
  • Diploma degree with accumulative GPA 2.5 out of 4 and 6 years’ work experience in relevant field( For Human Resources Management program);
  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.(For the programs with mode of study is English).
