SUC : Plagiarism Workshop for MBA-HRM students conducted by Learning Resources Centre of SUC

Learning Resources Centre of SUC conducted a workshop for the MBA-HRM students for the academic year 2019/2020 under the title: “How to Avoid Plagiarism in your Academic Writing”, held on March 6, 2020 (Friday) at LRC Lab by Dr. Laila Samea (Director- LRC) and Dr. M.K.G Rajev (Manager – LRC).

The main aim of the workshop is to introduce SUC MBA students on the main idea of plagiarism with reference to the basic concepts related to it, explain about the various types of plagiarism, provide the students with the strategies which help to avoid plagiarism in their assignments and research projects, introduce the students about the plagiarism detection tools and software and to make awareness among the postgraduate students of Sur University College plagiarism policy and the plagiarism policy of the University of Sunderland as well.

In addition to that, the participants got familiar with the electronic databases through MASADER services and various search strategies to achieve their research goals through enhancing their personal information infrastructure and their awareness by the recent information tools and technologies, which make effect on the higher education process as a part from the information literacy program. The participants actively taken part in the workshop and provided their valuable feedback.
