Internal Research Seminar of IST Department

On Thursday, November 2, a seminar was held at IST department theater, titled by “Fuzzy sets and Image Processing” Presented by the Head of IST Department Dr. Bremananth R at Sur University College.

The objectives of the Internal Research Seminar are to provide a stimulating research environment in which high quality research is promoted through the open exchange of ideas among staff members also to serve as an informal means of encouraging discussion and interaction among in-house researchers, And to establish teaching-research nexus and to improve the academic credibility , moreover it’s aims to promote novel research in the area of Artificial intelligence, Computer Vision, Image processing, Distributed computing, cloud computing, E-commerce & Governs, Knowledge management system, pervasive computing, Fuzzy sets & logics, Information Systems, Computer networks & wireless mobile computing, Big-data and other multidisciplinary areas related to Computer science and its applications.

the seminar included an overview of models and methods in Fuzzy sets for Image processing which in turn apply to medical and automated recognition systems. Real-time demo on image processing is also given to the spectators.

The seminar was attended by all Sur University College faculty members.
