Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitoring the implementation of operational plans and attainment of college objectives
• Support the college in developing and managing policies and regulations
• Monitor the compliance of the college to internal and external rules and regulatory requirements
• Support the college to achieve and maintain accreditation with the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority
• Develop, implement, monitor and review the quality assurance framework of the college.
• Monitor the progress and activities of committees and sub committees.
• Increase awareness about quality assurance activities and spread quality culture at SUC.

Quality Assurance Services

• Monitor the quality of services provided to stakeholders.
• Maintain the high standards of all services needed to meet the national and international requirements.
• Review and adopt a system that will help to attain the vision, mission and core values of the college.
• Provide assistance in the teaching, learning and research activities at SUC.

The Quality Assurance Department of Sur University College endeavors to:

• Build quality assurance frameworks to maintain high quality services.

• Assist SUC in getting accreditation and provide quality education.

• Impose rigorous and a high standard of quality assurance and enhancement processes.

• Improve institutional effectiveness in rendering the supportive environment in teaching and learning.

• Cooperate with affiliates to ensure high quality in all educational processes.

• Ensure Continuous quality enhancement in programs and institutional performance with international benchmarks.
