SUC : SUC Virtual Seminar on Health & Safety Procedures for Staffs

As part of its plan to raise the awareness of SUC Community on H&S policy and procedures, SUC represented in its Health, Safety & Disaster Management Committee in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Unit conducted a virtual seminar for the staffs through ZOOM platform under the title: “SUC Health & Safety Procedures: Information for Staffs”, was held on Tuesday 02/02/2021. The main aim is to raise the awareness on the basic safety guidelines, procedures and equipment, and to ensure that the staffs are familiar with SUC H&S procedures, instructions and incident reporting.

The roles & responsibilities, the area familiarization (including the committee representatives with respect to each department/unit), the exit doors with their corresponding assembly points and the incident reporting procedures were explained and discussed with the staffs during the seminar with examples from the college premises’ safety equipment. The staffs actively taken part in the seminar and provided their valuable feedback.
